The assignment for AP Summer Reading is as follows, depending on the course: Students must read the works and annotate 10 two to three page passages from each work according to the instructions given at the AP summer reading meeting in April. The PDF files describing the annotations are attached as well as examples.

Brandon Medlock, SHS senior & NCC Culinary Arts student, was recognized on May 3 as the Breaking Traditions State Secondary Male award winner at an awards ceremony in the Missouri State Capitol Rotunda in Jefferson City. Northland Career Center Awards
Congratulations to Eli Mitchell & Daniel Parker, seniors at the Northland Career Center. Eli was named outstanding student in HVACR & Daniel was named outstanding student in Culinary Arts for the 2012-2013 school year.
